About The Position

Title : International Tax Specialist

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Economics.
  • At least 2 years’ work experience in International Tax consulting. 
  • Knowledge of domestic and international taxes, tax treaties and related laws is preferable. 
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements effectively while ensuring excellent client service. 
  • Good spoken and written English as writing English language reports and advisory memoranda are important for the role. 
  • Working well as part of a team of tax professionals and offering effective opinions is required. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with deadlines. 
  • Positive mindset is very important. 

Job description

  • International Tax consulting and Transfer Pricing (TP) assignments. 
  • Provide sound international tax advice to a wide range of corporate and personal tax clients. 
  • Research local and international tax issues on a wide range of corporate and personal tax issues. 
  • Prepare draft tax reports, tax advice, tax rulings, and client tax positions. 
  • Prepare functional analyses based on information received during TP interviews. 
  • Research companies and industries to prepare economic and industry analyses. 
  • Conduct searches using databases and publicly available information to analyse comparable companies for benchmarking studies. 
  • Review audited financial statements and perform financial analysis. 
  • Identify TP risks and advise on TP risk mitigation. 
  • Contribute to technical discussions for the continued professional development of the International Tax and TP Team.
